DAY 1: HANOI – HALONG BAY – LAN HA BAY

We will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter for the transfer to Halong – Lan Ha Bay (available for guests who booked our transfer service).
11:30 – 12:00 | Arrival at Tuan Chau Port
Arrive at Tuan Chau Port and check in at Le Journey Cruises Waiting Lounge, No. 12, Tuan Chau Harbor.
12:30 | Transfer to Le Journey Elegance Cruise
Board the transfer boat to Le Journey Elegance Cruise. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a refreshing drink while completing the check-in procedure. The Cruise Manager will then provide a safety briefing and introduce the cruise itinerary.

Enjoy a delicious lunch while admiring the majestic scenery of Lan Ha Bay, a quieter extension of Halong Bay with fewer tourists. Along the way, the cruise passes famous landmarks such as Turtle Islet, Candle Islet, and thousands of uniquely shaped limestone towers and islands.

The cruise continues to the Dark & Bright Cave area, one of the most scenic spots in Lan Ha Bay. Here, you can explore the cave by kayak or by traditional bamboo boat rowed by local people, gliding through a peaceful lagoon surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and lush greenery.

You will also join a cooking class, where the chef will show you how to make traditional Vietnamese fresh spring rolls. After the demonstration, you can enjoy the dish you have prepared.

08:00 – 08:30 | Explore Cat Ba Island and Viet Hai Village
The transfer boat will take you across Lan Ha Bay to Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island. From the pier, you will enjoy a short cycling trip of about 5 km through a peaceful route surrounded by lush greenery and limestone mountains.
Viet Hai is a small, secluded village nestled within the ancient forest of Cat Ba National Park. Although it has become popular among international visitors, the village still retains its quiet, rustic, and untouched charm. If you prefer not to cycle, an electric car service may be available depending on the cruise arrangement.

Return to the transfer boat and enjoy lunch at the onboard restaurant while cruising through the beautiful scenery of Lan Ha Bay.
