ITINERARY
DAY 1: HANOI – HALONG BAY – LAN HA BAY
07:30 – Our driver will pick you up at your hotel/stay in Hanoi Old Quarter if you book our transfer service. If your address is outside the old quarter, please go to the meeting point (provided later) by yourself.
11:30 – Arrival at the Le Journey Cruises Waiting Lounge, located at No.12 Tuan Chau Harbor, for check-in procedures.
12:30 – You board the transfer boat to Le Journey Elegance Cruise, where a welcome drink is served. The Cruise Manager provides a safety briefing and an overview of the itinerary.
13:20 – A delectable lunch is served while you enjoy the breathtaking views of Lan Ha Bay, an extension of Halong Bay. The cruise passes notable landmarks such as Turtle Islet, Candle Islet, and numerous uniquely shaped limestone formations.
15:30 – You visit Dark and Bright Cave, celebrated for its untouched natural beauty and captivating scenery. The cave resembles a toad’s mouth, with its floor submerged in seawater and its ceiling arching above. You can experience an authentic bamboo boat ride, rowed by locals, through the heart of the cave.
17:00 – Return to Le Journey Elegance Cruise for a Sunset Party & Cooking Class. You can take advantage of Happy Hour: Buy 2, Get 1 Free while admiring the mesmerizing sunset from the sundeck.
18:00 – A professional chef leads a Traditional Vietnamese Fresh Spring Roll cooking class, allowing you to prepare and savor this classic dish.
19:15 – Special Experience: A romantic candlelit dinner on the sundeck (weather permitting), featuring gourmet Vietnamese cuisine curated by the cruise’s five-star chefs. After dinner, you can enjoy cultural performances such as a traditional Ao Dai showcase and Bamboo Dancing.
21:30 – You may unwind on the deck, soaking in the peaceful nighttime view of the bay. Additional activities include a complimentary herbal foot bath, drinks at the Sky Bar (chargeable), spa and massage services (chargeable), and participation in the squid fishing program.
22:00 – Overnight stay on board Le Journey Elegance.
DAY 2: LAN HA BAY – VIET HAI VILLAGE – CAT BA ISLAND
06:15 – Start your day with a Taichi session on the sundeck, or wake early (5:30-6:00) for sunrise experience.
06:45 – Enjoy a light breakfast with tea, coffee, and pastries as the cruise heads to the next destination.
08:00 – The transfer boat will take guests across Lan Ha Bay to the Viet Hai village. From there, guests will enjoy a short 5km bike ride to Viet Hai Village – a small, secluded village nestled within ancient forests and surrounded by the towering mountains of Cat Ba National Park. This area has become popular among foreign visitors but has yet to attract the majority of tourists, preserving its untouched, pristine charm.
12:00 – Return to the transfer boat for lunch at the onboard restaurant.
14:00 – The transfer boat will take guests to a secluded beach area, very peaceful and with few tourists. Ba Trai Dao Beach – the most beautiful beach in Lan Ha Bay – features soft white sands, where you can freely swim or enjoy kayaking activities.
15:00 – Back on Le Journey Elegance, where guests can enjoy a dip in the swimming pool on the third deck and admire the stunning sunset over Lan Ha Bay or experience therapeutic massage services right on board.
17:00 – Participate in 2 activities: Sunset Party & Cooking Class. Join our HAPPY HOUR: Buy 02 get 01 drink while enjoying the amazing scenery while watching the sunset over the sundeck.
19:00 – SPECIAL: A romantic candlelit dinner served on the Sundeck (depends on weather conditions) featuring gourmet Vietnamese cuisine crafted by the cruise’s 5-star chefs. After dinner, you can participate in activities such as watching a traditional Ao Dai performance and Bamboo Dancing.
21:00 – Unwind under the tranquil night sky of Lan Ha Bay. Enjoy complimentary herbal foot bath (one free packet/room) or a drink at the Sky Bar (additional cost). Indulge in a night massage or join in a fun squid fishing activity.
22:00 – The cruise will anchor in a quiet resting area for the night.
DAY 3: LAN HA BAY – HALONG BAY – HANOI
06:15 – You begin your day with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck, embracing the serene ambiance of the bay. Those who wish to witness the sunrise should wake up between 05:30 – 06:00 AM, with guidance from the crew.
06:45 – A light breakfast with tea, coffee, and pastries is served as the cruise makes its way to the next destination.
07:30 – You explore the Tra Bau area, known for its pristine beauty. A kayaking and swimming excursion offers a unique opportunity to navigate this stunning location, which gained international recognition as a filming site for Kong: Skull Island in Quang Ninh (2018).
09:15 – You return to Le Journey Elegance Cruise, complete check-out procedures, and return their room keys to reception.
09:30 – A brunch is served while the cruise makes its journey back to the harbor. You may relax on. the sundeck, enjoying the serenity of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
10:40 – You are transferred by boat to the Tuan Chau Harbor Waiting Lounge.
11:15 – Return to Hanoi if you book our transfer service.
14:30 – 15:00Â – Drop you off at your address in Hanoi Old Quarter or meeting point.

We reserve the right to cancel your bookings under some unavoidable circumstances like weather harbour and need to return Hanoi immediately: Full refund will be made.
